A Happy Christmas

Thank you to everyone who demonstrated such kindness and goodwill to our clients over Christmas. Our long-serving relief worker, Sue, pictured here, cooked Christmas lunch single-handed (she wouldn’t have it any other way!) with veg supplied by St Nicolas in Bookham and turkey funded by the staff team at Wates who also provided groceries and gifts for our clients, as did our corporate supporters, KBR.  The students at St John’s School, Leatherhead and Hannah and Tina from SOS also brought us gifts for the clients and  St John’s School supplied a real (impressively non-drop!) Christmas tree. Many others made financial gifts on our Givey site or, like the Ahmadiyya Womens’ Association, called by with gifts and donations. LPC (Leatherhead Parish Church), who are supporting us this year, remembered our staff team with their ‘Bags of Kindness’.  Many thanks to you all with our very best wishes for a happy and hopeful New Year as we continue to assist those in our community who find themselves in crisis and in need of our support.
